When we had our sleep over we had such a fun time. Lisa and Kyle went to Nevada and Austin and Blaike stayed with the Wayments until Saturday then they stayed with us until Sunday night. We went and visited with Blake and they had a fun time chasing Wickett. We came home and had a lot of fun playing games and making a hut. Enjoy the Smile box to get the true story.

Aunt Ethel

January My Aunt Ethel died. She was my father's sister. She was a very special lady. I remember growing up and visiting her. We called her husband Uncle Fat. He was a mechanic. Uncle Fat always had a scooter to ride. They had 3 children, Elvin, Ann and Peggy. They were older than I was so I did not know them very well. Three years ago Ann and I was able to become good friends. We started doing genealogy together and really enjoyed it. It was always on Tuesday morning. We would laugh and have a good time. I was able then to get re-acquainted with Peggy. Ann passed away on Nov. 1 2008. Aunt Ethel was so sad. She missed her. From the south end of Price, Dad moved Aunt Ethel's home onto another foundation across from Reeves school. There she lived until she could not take care of herself any more. She loved her home and she loved to have people visit her. She always had a kind word to say. She knew Gardell from High School where she worked a Sherald's drive-in. He would visit her on nights she worked there. I think the teenagers like her as well as girls that worked there. She was a great sister to her siblings as well as their spouses. I saw many boxes of candy to show her love and that they were not forgotten. She will be greatly missed. She was our rock when my parents passed away. At the funeral I was asked to put on her veil and say the family prayer. I felt very privilege. She always told me she loved me and I will miss that.

Sunday Dinner

Sunday Kyle, Lisa, Blaike and Austin came for dinner. With dinner preparation I consulted with each of the grandchildren. Blaike said he wanted cheese-sticks. Austin said he wanted Chicken and Rice. I told him I could do that. Then he said Turkey. I told him I probably could not do Turkey but I would see. Then he said he wanted Duck. At that point I told him I did not have a duck but for sure we would have chicken with rice. We had a nice dinner. As Blaike left he said we will see you in 5 days. We are having a sleep over. More news to come after the sleep over.
