Friday Lisa, Blaike, Austin, and myself decided since the men were off Elk and Deer hunting we were going to go on a Road Trip. We started by having lunch with Randy. He also needed to pick up his bow since he broke the string. We were glad to have an excuse to do it.
From there we went to Cabela's. Men all over the place but the reason we went was to see my cousin that I hadn't seen in over 30 years. We asked for Steven Nielson and they pointed us down the counter and as we were trying to figure out which employee he was he said "Hello Carole". I was so excited. He even gave me a hug. He was with a customer and so we did not talk much. But Blaike and Austin got some tokens from Steven. They went and played the Arcades. Lisa took a shot at the skunk and hit it. Not only hit it she got sprayed. The boys were able to feed the fish and look at all of the big ones they had.

From there we went to Helper and Saw Big John. The boys could not believe how big he was. They got into the coal cars. Off to the Helper park. I spent many days at the swimming pool growing up. We road up to the Cemetery, then off to Kenilworth. We saw the home my mother lived. All so the church. Even tho she didn't go when she was young. I do remember going to that church with dad and mom. Dad probably was speaking.
Down to Spring Glen Park. Dad started the park while they lived in Spring Glen. Now stands green grass where when I was going to school was all dirt. The boys had fun swinging, sliding and playing on the bars.
It was getting time to get to Grandma Grundvigs. The boys wanted to go to the school and play on the toys. So the boys and Young Grandma went over to the school. There they started playing tag. I can not believe they talked me into it. Lisa just happened to show up and she ended up being it. For the first time in maybe in 40 years I have every slide down a slide. I was pretty good keeping away from Lisa. The boys are a little faster. It was great fun.
Blaike and Austin made a hut and for dinner we had little Caesar Pizza. It was a great day.

Saturday morning we headed out to the Dinosaur Museum. It was fun. The boys were excited to see the Alligator and Turtle. Pictures tell the whole story.
After that we went to the Cemetery and visited Dad, Mom Grandma Great, Richard and other family members.
We headed to the Dino Park. Had lots of fun. Parks are the new thing. So may fun ones.
That night we were tired. I went and did some grocery shopping. Gardell and Kyle got in about 9.00pm. That was nice not to late.
Sunday, Church, nice dinner, saying good by to Gardell and off we went. Driving through Helper again we stopped at the Museum and took a few pictures.
Up the canyon I have always wanted to visit a Cemetery. It is called the Mill Creek Cemetery. It was a pretty cemetery. Austin was a sleep so Lisa, Blaike, and myself looked through it. Blaike found a pussy-willow and wanted it. So he and Lisa worked on it and the picture will show the out come.
We were so happy to get home. The big sun flower was out. So grateful for home.
